Hans-Joachim Hasemann-Trutzel

Hans-Joachim ("Achim") Hasemann-Trutzel is the managing director of the management and consulting unit of our Institute, “Inno-Val-HC Research Inc.” (Inno-Val-HC Forschungsgesellschaft mbH). Achim has been a lawyer since 1985 and a specialist in administrative law (since 1993). He has dealt with a wide range of legal and professional issues in the health professions. For example, Achim dealt with the implementation of new hygiene regulations in doctors' practices, fundamental issues regarding the approval of German statutory health insurance physicians, in the context of new licensing regulation for psychotherapists, the state funding eligibility of private nursing services, the rights and obligations of emergency doctors and the reimbursement of ion therapies.

From 1995 to 2012, Achim was appointed judge at the Koblenz Bar Court. As a legal counsel, he looks after various public bodies for the health professions. He has been responsible for managing family foundations for several years, and he currently serves as a member of the board of the Franziskus Foundation for Nursing.
