Education & Outreach

Members of the Institute have been involved in teaching econometrics, statistics, health economics, medical and managerial decision analysis, and innovation and change management courses in academic settings as well in executive education programs, at institutions such as the London School of Economics (LSE), the European Market Access University Diploma (EMAUD) program at the University Claude Bernard Lyon I (UCBL I), the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (FSFM), and the Universities of Heidelberg, Mannheim, Heilbronn, and Ludwigshafen.

Apart from tailor-made courses and executive programs, the Heidelberg Health Economics Summer School has been a pillar of the Institute’s education and outreach activities since 2006.

As of 2024, the Heidelberg Health Economics Summer School will move to a brand new venue in the Italian Dolomites, the NOBIS conference center in Bruneck, South Tyrol (Brunico, Alto Adige), next to the local campus of the NOI (“Nature of Innovation”) Techpark, a network of regional research institutions and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
